Er... you summon them before a fight, or still have them alive from the last fight.

You are aware of the Kurzick/Luxon skill Summon Spirits right? And i was wrong about the dps, assuming 13 Channeling 16 Communing vs a Painful Bonded with Signet of Ghostly Might up foe you get 42 + 18 from Pain, 22 + 18 from Bloodsong (or 20 + 18 from a max Vampirism), 31 + 18 from Shadowsong and 62 + 18 from Anguish on top of a 33% IAS speed boost. So thats a total of 229 damage every attack (i don't remember the attack rate of spirits). Thats some pretty good single target dps.

Bloodsong attacks once every 1.75 seconds, Vampirism every 2.15 and every other attacks once every 2 seconds.

13 Channeling, 16 Communing.
Painful Bond is +18. SoGM is +11.

Bloodsong: 22+18 a hit. Under all buffs with PB - 34 DPS
Shadowsong: 21+11+18 = 50. - 37.3 DPS
Pain: 32+11+18 = 61 - 45.5 DPS
Anguish: 2x(11+21) +18 = 82 - 61.2 DPS

That isn't bad. What it isn't is good. You could have up to 178 DPS on a single target or around 50 DPS on several targets, which is much less useful.
However, spirits are extremely fragile and will quickly die if they come under any form of attack. You do not provide the protection a MM does and your energy gets strained by summong spirits (which you will need to do).

There probably won't be a skill update this month, but i think they should slightly hit all these hexes.

weaken-, -4 10 damage.
linger i guess stay the same but i would have rather them kept it at 33% but made it adjacent.
VoR and Backfire and Empathy need some kind of rework, those have to be the gayest skills in the game.
mind blast could have something done to it, i don't think distortion is a problem. If anything they can make it 6 second recharge to increase your window of opportunity.
I really don't like faint, it screws up everything. It shouldn't be half as fast. maybe 25% slower or 33%.
The biggest skill that needs nerfed is ether prism, that skill is retarded.

I am tired of seeing everyone run hexes and fire eles, its such a joke.

Personally i think there will be a good skill balance later on tonight,
I think Hexes need another nerf and Fire Eles need a big nerf.

Why did my post get deleted? I was giving a valid opinion and in no way trolling. modrage much?

I'l say it again, need more buffs not nerfs otherwise skills will remained untouched and it'l be the last meta standing. PvE suffers indirectly from these skills changes too which is why people stick to things like cryway or back in the ursan days.

Unless they say it's for PvE, most of the time when talking about skill updates it's regarding PvP.

Ok I don't think I paid attention to 90% of that post, but that....makes me go 'huh? wtf game are you playing?!'

A dervish can consistently kick the butt of any squishy (or sin) easily (usually) considering with a scythe and a decent build they do as much damage as a fricking fire or air ele. 100+ damage on almost every attack. Unless you happen to have a monk standing by babysitting you, that's gonna kill ya in just a few hits.

Back on the original topic; I don't have any predictions for the skill balance.

I think I would like to see a change to RoJ only because in JQ, you should not be able to cap a mine in a single cast of a single skill, and ffs every class is using it! Remove the burning until the very end like searing heat, or make it scatter, or something. I'm tired of interrupting the same builds all the time. Change is good, stagnation is boring.

Beyond that I have no wish list. Throw your changes at me Anet. I shall enjoy the challenge of remaking builds and trying new things.

im curious as to how RoJ is overpowered. Only heroway uses it and its not like that is hard to beat.

Fire is still a joke in HM, but it is viable for Normal Mode. Me says: nerf elemental mob armour.

It's not that it's hard to beat. It's just annoying, and quite frankly it's getting boring since everyone is using that skill.

Besides, it's an AoE, it should cause scatter like the rest of them.
